Michelin Chef "Kasane" Chef & Owner Kojiro Kashiwada (Tokyo, Akasaka)
Kashiwada, born in Miyazaki Prefecture, is the owner and chef of "Kasane" in Akasaka,Tokyo.
With a focus on ingredients from his hometown of Miyazaki Prefecture, Kashiwada uses seasonal ingredients to express the four seasons of Japan.
He holds numerous accolades, including "Miyazaki Ambassador - Food Evangelist" from Miyazaki Prefecture, "Hebe Ambassador" from Hyuga City, "Fukushima Support Chef" from Fukushima Prefecture, and "Toyama Support Chef" from Toyama Prefecture. In 2010, he received the "Culinary Masters" Bronze Award from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. In 2011, it was awarded a Michelin star.

The 20th chief priest of Aoshima Shrine, Nagatomo, was born and raised in Aoshima. Experience an Aoshima night guided tour and Aoshima Kagura performance led by Mr. Nagatomo, where no two days are the same and the colors of the sunrise and sunset are different every day.

Aoshima Night Light Up
During the event, Aoshima Shrine will be lit up, creating a special and fantastical atmosphere.
Normally, Aoshima Shrine closes at sunset.
You can enjoy special admission to Aoshima Shrine, which is normally closed at night.

[Time] 16:00-21:00 *During the event, you will not be able to enter Aoshima Island after 16:00.
ACCESS
・Please use public transportation (JR, local buses, taxis, etc.) to get to the venue as much as possible.
・If you are coming by car, please use a nearby paid parking lot. Parking is limited.
・Special local buses will be in operation (please check the Miyazaki Kotsu website)
[Limited to foreign visitors to Japan]
・The tourist train "Umisachi/Yamasachi (between Miyazaki Station and Aoshima Station)" will be in operation on the event days (5 days from 10/12, 19, 11/3, 4, and 10).
A limited number of round-trip tickets (specified time) will be available for foreign visitors participating in this event (purchasers of each content) at the Miyazaki City Tourist Information Center to those who wish to purchase them. (As preparations are currently underway, reservations will be accepted as soon as they are ready.)
