Cape Toi
A cape rich with natural beauty where you can see wild horses
This is the southernmost cape in Miyazaki Prefecture. There is a white-walled lighthouse that overlooks the Pacific Ocean at the tip. This is the only lighthouse in Kyushu that you can actually climb up and visit. The vicinity is home to 3,000 sago cycads, so it has a tropical atmosphere. Many wild horses live on the slopes of the hills overlooking the sea. You can also enjoy trekking here while looking at the superb views.
